Dish
5G Wireless:
Low and Mid-Band Channels
Dish Corporation is building a new wireless network which they claim
will be "All-5G". Initially, they provide service under
the Boost Mobile
and Ting Mobile brands operating through an agreement with
T-Mobile and other roaming partners.
They could indeed build their own network which would make 5g
Coverage
available to Boost and Ting customers, and Dish's own or affiliated
brands of
wireless. Dish has their own spectrum in both Low
and Mid-Band
frequencies
which have moderate to good coverage and
download speeds from better, to much better than, 4G-LTE.

T-Mobile
5G Wireless:
High and Low-Band Channels, Expanding into Mid-Band.
T-Mobile now offers 5G Wireless in almost all urban markets and many
rural areas.
They claim service to 200 million people in the US. They are using 600
and 700 MHz ("Low
Band") channels
for nationwide coverage and
additional "High-Band"
frequencies (39 GHz) for faster downloads in
urban core areas.
Also, T-Mobile has acquired Sprint and is
offering combined 5G coverage of the two networks, including
Sprint's extensive Mid-Bandcoverage,
with a
compatible 5G device. T-Mobile will eventually offer a
significant mix of Low, Mid and High-Band channels. T-Mobile also
offers broadband internet access for the home that uses a mix of 4G LTE
and 5G bands..

Verizon 5G:
High-, Low-
and Multi-Band
Channels
Verizon is offering "Low-Band"
5G Wireless
in several cities and 5G Wireless
for a fixed location under the name,
"Home", in some of those markets. Verizon is using "High-Band"
channels
at 28 GHz for their "Ultra Wideband" (UW) service, located in small
parts of the cities where UW coverage is offered, which has
very high download speeds but very limited
coverage.
Their Low-Band channels, with excellent coverage, uses their
existing 800 MHz channels which is also used for other types of
service, which, for now, limits the capacity of those channels.
Verizon has chosen to add Ultra Wideband to
several NFL stadiums. We bet there are plenty of
parking
spaces available to see if you can make a fast, 5G connection there.
